Support Their Story:Join Dr. Monteiro for this live 4-hour workshop designed for clinicians familiar with using the MIGDAS-2 diagnostic interview system. This workshop provides clinicians with in-depth tools to structure neuro-affirming and descriptive Brain Style Profiles across age and ability levels. Using the Descriptive Triangle strengths-based language and framework, clinicians are guided through the collaborative process between the clinician and the autistic individual in the development of goals and positive supports. Included in this framework is a discussion of the fundamental structure clinicians can apply to support each individual’s self-determination and autonomy process. This workshop covers ways to structure therapeutic conversational exchanges regarding the development of goals and supports as well as creating succinct and individualized goals as part of a comprehensive narrative report.
